Data sources
All data on the site comes from official measurements and forecasts of the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO). Here is exactly what we show and how often it refreshes.
Weather data
Current conditions come from the network of around 180 automatic ARSO weather stations across Slovenia: temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind, gusts, cloud cover and precipitation. The forecast covers individual hours, three-hourly steps over a multi-
How often data updates
Measurements and forecasts are transferred into our database several times a day. Every page is built when you visit it, so the measurement time is always shown on the page itself; if a reading is older than two hours, it is marked as such.
Places and stations
The site covers more than 300 places. Since ARSO only has stations at selected points, each place uses the nearest active station; the distance to it is shown on the place page. Each place altitude is taken into account when displaying data.
